I hired Lafayette Heating & Cooling for a recent furnace repair and was extremely impressed. We’ve had Lafayette Heating & Cooling service our hvac system for many years and have always had a great experience. Last week, we called them out for a concern and Tyler was able to diagnose the problem quickly. We ended up needing to replace our furnace. Greg was able to come out shortly after to give us a quote, and we were able to have them install a new one within a couple days. The install team was efficient and friendly! Fast, reasonable!

I've had their maintenance program on my furnace and AC for nearly 25 years, and their techs are always well trained , knowledgeable and friendly. The furnace is still running great and when the AC went out a few years ago the salesman was excellent at explaining what we needed. What we got is much quieter and handles those hot summers we've had with no problems. Based on experience I've had with other local companies in my previous home, I wouldn't go anywhere else for my furnace/AC needs. January 2025 my thermostat was acting up, and I called for service. Tyler, their tech came within an hour (on a Sunday) and installed the replacement thermostat, which is nicer than the one we had. Again, we are very happy with Lafayette Heating and cooling. Oct 2025 The tech servicing our 25 year old furnace found a problem such that we needed a new furnace. I appreciated that it was safety first. We were to leave on vacation in a week, and Greg came that same day and arranged for quick installation of the new furnace before we left. Just in time, since cold weather was coming and if the furnace had failed while we were gone it could have been a disaster. The new two stage furnace does a great job keeping the temperature even throughout the house, a big improvement on the old one that came with the house (not from LHC). I really appreciate that it is more energy efficient than our old one stage furnace. I trust them to install quality equipment and and keep it running. Couldn't be happier.

Lafayette Heating & Cooling is the 3rd local contractor I’ve used for HVAC related work since moving into my home. I seemed to have regular yearly issues with heat shutting down on the coldest days of the year. Had issues with AC on the hottest days similarly. Everything changed when I purchased a new unit from LHC and started having them do regular maintenance. Great communication with the office and courteous techs at my house is normal. Glad I made the switch.
